By booking services with AMAZON SAFARIS PERU, the traveler acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted the following terms and conditions.

1. COMPANY INFORMATION

AMAZON SAFARIS PERU is a travel agency specialized in tourism experiences in the Peruvian Amazon, focused on responsible, sustainable, and cultural tourism, working closely with local guides and communities.

2. BOOKINGS AND CONFIRMATION
  • All bookings are subject to availability.

  • A reservation is considered confirmed only after the required payment (partial or full, depending on the program) has been received.

  • AMAZON SAFARIS PERU reserves the right to modify itineraries due to operational, weather, safety reasons, or force majeure, always ensuring a comparable value experience.

3. PAYMENTS
  • A deposit is required to confirm the booking; the amount will be informed at the time of quotation.

  • The remaining balance must be paid prior to the start of the trip, according to the agreed conditions.

  • Payments can be made through the methods indicated by the agency. Bank transfer fees or transaction charges are the responsibility of the traveler.

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made in writing. The following general conditions apply unless otherwise specified in the program:

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days before the trip: partial refund minus administrative fees.

  • Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the trip: 50% penalty of the total cost.

  • Cancellations made less than 14 days before the trip or no-shows: no refund.

Cases of force majeure will be evaluated individually.

5. ITINERARY CHANGES

The traveler understands that activities in the Amazon depend on weather conditions, river levels, and natural factors. AMAZON SAFARIS PERU may adjust schedules, routes, or activities to ensure safety and service quality.

6. TRAVELER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The traveler is responsible for providing accurate and complete personal information.

  • Valid travel documents (passport, ID, visas, required vaccinations, etc.) are the traveler’s responsibility.

  • The traveler must inform the agency in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations.

  • The traveler agrees to respect local laws, cultural norms, and environmental regulations during the tour.

7. HEALTH, SAFETY, AND INSURANCE
  • AMAZON SAFARIS PERU strongly recommends purchasing travel insurance covering medical expenses, accidents, and cancellations.

  • The company is not responsible for illnesses, accidents, losses, or personal damages during the trip, except where required by law.

8. RESPONSIBLE TOURISM

AMAZON SAFARIS PERU promotes respect for nature, wildlife, flora, and local communities. Any behavior that harms the environment or violates local customs may result in the suspension of services without refund.

9. LIMITED LIABILITY

The agency acts as an intermediary between the traveler and local service providers (transportation, accommodation, guides, communities). It is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or damages caused by third parties or circumstances beyond its control.

10. USE OF IMAGES

AMAZON SAFARIS PERU may use photographs or videos taken during tours for promotional purposes unless the traveler explicitly states otherwise in writing.

11. APPLICABLE LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Any disputes shall be resolved under the corresponding legal jurisdiction.
